The CONTECH® S‑32B turnbuckle is a heavy‑duty lashing component designed for securing and tensioning container stacks on board vessels. It serves as the connection element between the ship’s lashing eyes and the vertical or diagonal lashing rods used to stabilize container tiers.
The S‑32B is compatible with lashing rods type LR‑63 (knob type) as well as vertical rods LR‑65, allowing it to be used in various lashing configurations depending on vessel layout and stack height.
The jaw end of the turnbuckle is engineered to fit securely into standard lashing eyes, ensuring reliable load transfer under dynamic sea‑going conditions. Once engaged, the turnbuckle can be tensioned and locked using the S‑97A turnbuckle spanner, enabling precise adjustment of lashing force.
